摘　　要：结合工作实践,探讨科技期刊编辑建立编辑电子手册的必要性,并阐明手册的主要内容、建立方法、维护、使用及其主要作用。建立编辑电子手册是一种非常好的手段,有助于提高编辑的素质及工作效率和质量。Combining practice in the work, we discuss the necessity for scientific journal editors to set up editorial E-manuals of their own, and elucidate the primary content, establishing methods, maintenance, application and main functions of the manuals. It is pointed out that setting up editorial E-manuals is a recognized means, not only to enhance editors＇ work efficiency and quality, but also to improve their own capabilities.
