摘　　要：大学宗旨包含大学的性质、大学的方向、大学的目标、办学的途径、办学的结果、实践性的理想等诸方面要素。在现代大学制度建设过程中,大学章程中的大学宗旨提供了大学的总体办学方向、总体办学目标和基本价值选择,有着特别重要的意义。大学章程中的大学宗旨具有法律性、特殊性、涵盖性、适用性和非规范性的特征。大学章程中表述和确认大学宗旨应当遵循重要性原则、引导性原则、丰富性原则、实践性原则和价值性原则。The idea of university contains the nature, direction, aim, approach, outcome and its practical idea of a university. In the process of constructing modern university system, the university idea in a university statutes has offered the overall direction, objective and basic value choice of school running, which has particular significance. The university idea in a university statutes has the characteristics of law, specificity, inclusiveness, applicability and inegularity. The university idea should stick to some principles, such as importance, guiding, enriching, practicing and value.
