摘　　要：文章对目前新疆宗教工作面临的问题作了论述,认为:(1)绝不能把敌对势力利用宗教和宗教本身混为一谈;(2)当前和今后一个时期,宗教工作的主要任务不是去压制和消灭宗教,而是团结广大信教和不信教群众为实现我们共同的政治目标而奋斗;(3)新疆宗教问题的复杂性和特殊性,要求我们在工作中既不能简单粗暴,又要紧密结合新疆实际;(4)当前新疆宗教工作宜有所为有所不为,既要加强管理,又要宽严相济,避免人为树敌;(5)不能就宗教解决宗教问题,而应立足于经济社会发展,从"根"和"本"上去解决问题;(6)做好新疆的宗教工作,重在提高干部的管理水平。This paper discussed problems in religious affairs of Xinjiang,and concluded that we do not confound religion itself with religious issues used by hostile groups;at present and in future,the main mission of religious work is not repress and eliminate religion but consolidate Muslim people and Non-religious people to realize our common political goals;the complexity and particularity of religious issues of Xinjiang requires that we do not work simply and roughly,we should combine with reality of Xinjiang tightly;the religious work of Xinjiang should select some works to do or not to do,both improve our religious management and control the measure,avoid artificial contradiction;we should not resolve religious issues rely on religion itself but on economic and social development;the key to do religious work well is to enhance management capacity of our cadres.
