摘　　要：指出了随着经济和社会的高速发展,东西方文化交流日趋频繁,城市建设速度的加快,必然导致文化趋同现象严重,城市形象也趋于雷同。探讨了地域文化和生态园林城市建设的关系,提出了地域文化如果与园林设计结合起来,能提高城市自身的特色与魅力,最终实现"文化建园"的目的。With the rapid development of economy and society, the frequent cultural exchanges between the East and the West and the accelerated pace of the city construction inevitably lead to serious cultural eonvergence and similar city image. This article discusses the relation between regional culture and ecological garden city construction, and points out that it can improve the characteristics and features of the city itself, and also realize the purpose of ＂Using culture instruct landscape construction＂ if the landscape design can combine with the regional culture.
