摘　　要：介绍了一种新型的ATM PON系统 ,它采用在PON传输层上定义ATME层的方法取代传统的ATM层 ,并采用包含 6byte信头的双向 54byte信元格式 ,可获得较高的传输容量。在VP级上控制上行信号的发送和管理连接资源 ,可实现灵活的动态带宽分配。A new type of ATM-PON system is presented. It employs th e method of defining an ATME layer above the PON transmission layer to replace the ATM layer, and adopts the 54 byte cell format including 6 byt e hea der, getting rather high transmission capacity. The control of upstream transmis sion and the management of connection resources are carried on VP level, yieldin g flexible dynamic bandwidth allocation.
