摘　　要：Agent是目前计算机科学领域中的一个重要概念。基于 Agent的系统代表了一种新颖的软件开发方式和范型 ,用于概念化、分析、描述和实现复杂、庞大的软件系统。本文较为系统地介绍了 Agent概念和基于 Agent系统这样一种软件开发方法 ;分析了基于 Agent系统为什么能够在一定程度上适应和满足当前软件开发的需求、基于 Agent系统的特点以及应用状况 ;最后概括了基于 Agent系统的局限性以及面临的问题和挑战。Agent is an important concept in the area of the computer science.Agent based system represents a new way and paradigm to conceptualize,analyze,describe,and implement complicated and large system.In this paper,the concept of Agent and Agent based system is introduced,the characteristic of the Agent based system and the status of Agent application are analyzed;lastly the issues and the challenges that Agent application is faced with are investigated.
