美军第五代国防语言水平测试体系研究——兼议我军外语能力测评体系改革

摘　　要：美军第五代国防外语水平测试在美国军队决定文职雇员和现役军人在战备、奖励工资、培训等任务分配时扮演着重要角色。较之先前的国防外语水平测试体系,它在测试形式、语料使用、能力考查、效能规定等方面具有一定的创新和优势。就初级测试的效度、试题的准确性、难度和实用性以及试题模式而言则有待改进。美军第五代国防外语水平测试的研究对我军本科学历教育的英语能力测评体系和军队人员岗位任职能力外语水平测评体系具有一定借鉴意义,可以充分发挥测评体系的反拨作用,使其为培养新型军事人才服务。The fifth generation of the defense language proficiency Test （DLPT5） has been playing an important role in making operational readiness, incentive pay, and training decisions for civilian and military language analysts in the U. S. armed forces. Compared with the previous generations of DLPT, it boasts of innovations and advantages of test mode, material employment, capability testing as well as terms of validity. The study of DLPT5 has some constructive implications for the English proficiency assessment system of the pre-commissioning education of military academies and for the military professional foreign language proficiency assessment system of PLA, which will give full play to the backwash effect of assessment, and help to produce high caliber military personnel.
