摘　　要：随着Internet技术广泛而深入的应用,利用公共网络构建的虚拟专用网络(Virtual private network,VPN)越来越受到人们的重视,文章主要介绍了目前主流的两种VPN技术:安全套接层(Se-cure sockets layer,SSL)VPN与因特网安全协议(Internet protocol security,IPSec)VPN,讨论了这两种技术的原理与方法,通过对两者优劣和适应性等多方面的比较,给出在不同需求下这两种技术的应用。With the wide and in-depth applications of Internet technology, to build virtual private network （VPN） using public networks has attracted more and more attention. This article introduces two main VPN technologies： Secure Sockets Layer VPN and Internet Protocol Security VPN, and discusses the principles and methods of these two technologies. Based on the comparison in Advantage and Adaptability between SSL VPN and IPSec VPN, the applicable environment of these two technologies is given.
