摘　　要：在词典编纂中,例证的选择是一项核心任务。传统的例证研究通常涉及词的固定搭配、词义理解、同义词辨析等。随着对语言使用者需求的进一步重视,以及词典编纂理论愈加成熟和系统,词典例证需要体现更加完备的信息,而通过例证了解词目相关文化信息,也成为了词典编纂和研究的重点。本文将通过探索英汉学习词典中例证文化信息的现状,分析例证文化信息尚待完善的原因,为英汉学习词典中例证文化信息的选择和处理提供一些建议。Example choosing is an important task in dictionary compilation. Traditionally, examples usually contain such information as fixed collocation of words, different senses and synonym distinguishing. But dictionary users＇ requirements and lexicographic theorization call for much more information in dictionary examples. Therefore, cultural information of examples becomes one of the major concerns for lexicographers. This paper puts forward some suggestions of choosing and dealing with cultural information of examples in Chinese - English learner＇s dietionary by studying the current presentation in existing dictionaries and analyzing the reasons for them.
