摘　　要：洛阳历代名人辈出,他们的美德和思想、取得的成就、作出的贡献,都是我们建设文明和谐的新洛阳的精神力量。然而迄今为止,仅有的两部专著——《洛阳历代名人》《洛阳历史名人》,都存在漏收成就突出、影响较大的洛阳先贤的纰漏。为此,我们查阅了大量古今典籍,并严加考辨,拾遗补阙,共补录了15位洛阳先贤的事迹,以求更加全面地反映洛阳古代灿烂辉煌的文化底蕴。There were a large number of sages born in Luoyang generation upon generation. Their virtue and thought, achievements and contributions are the spiritual strength for building a civilized and harmonious society of new Luoyang. However, the only two monographs, ＂ Luoyang Celebrities of the Past＂ and ＂The History of Celebrities in Luoyang＂ have faults of leakage collection of prominent sages with outstanding achievements and great influence. We therefore consulted a large number of ancient and modern books by way of strict textual researches to make up the leakage and deficiencies, and recollected another 15 sages with their remarkable deeds in order to further manifest comprehensively the glorious and resplendent culture of ancient Luoyang.
