摘　　要：美国高校学生事务管理评估以促进学生发展为目标。学生事务评估办公室、评估专业协会依据美国高等教育标准促进委员会标准,采用定性与定量相结合的方法,遵循提出问题、拟定评估指标体系、信息分析、得出结论、提出建议等步骤,组织、支持专家、学生、公众、同事等评估主体,对学生事务管理的机构、活动和人员进行评估。The ultimate goal of Student Affairs Assessment is promoting students＇ development in America universities. Aside from assessment of professional and non-governmental organizations, many universities have set up student affairs office of assessment. The assessment subjects include specialists, students, the public, colleagues and so on. The assessment methods include quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The steps of assessments include asking a question, establishing assessment index system, information gathering, processing and analysis, drawing assessment conclusions and making recommendations. Student affairs assessments contain three contents： agency assessment,activities assessment and personnel assessment. We can draw lessons from student affairs assessment of colleges and universities in America.
