摘　　要：《红楼梦》中有大量关于疾病和药的表述,构成了作品非常重要的部分,它们从一个侧面体现了人物的社会生活和社会关系。作品中人们所患的疾病以及对待疾病的态度是人物独特性格的体现,是人物对外界刺激的一种反应方式,人们对待疾病的方式反映了个体、家族和社会的存在状态,是贾府兴衰的一种体现形式。There are a lot of descriptions about diseases and drug formulation in A Dream of Red Mamsions. It constitutes a very important part of this book, and reflects the characters＇ social lives and their social relations to some degree. The disea- ses people suffer from and their attitude towards the disease in this book are manifestation of the unique characteristics of such figures. It＇s also a way to respond to external stimuli. The way people treat diseases reflects the state of existence of in- dividual, family and society, and also a reflection of Jia Family＇s history of rise and decline. Disease iss also the symbol of the characters＇ identity and status.
