摘　　要：地理信息系统作为信息技术领域的热门技术己广泛应用于公共卫生和医疗服务领域。介绍了新农合地理信息系统的结构和功能,阐述了新农合地理信息系统信息查询服务、统计分析服务和决策支持等三大类应用。Geographic information system is a popular technology in the field of information and it has been widely used in public health and medical services field. This paper introduces the structure and the function of New Rural Cooperative Medical Insurance GIS, and expounds three important applications of GIS, namely information retrieve services, statistical analysis services and decision support services.
