摘　　要：盐城有不少独具特色的地名,它们与其自古繁盛的煮盐业密切相关。从语源和文化两个视角探讨这些地名的命名理据,揭示其所蕴含的历史文化内涵,对于人们认识地名的文化学、民俗学价值,更好地传承和弘扬地域文化,有着积极意义。Yancheng has many unique places which closely relate to its ancient prosperous boiled salt industry. If the origin of ge- ographical name could be discussed from the view of etymology and culture, there should be positive meaning in discovering the historical and cultural inner containing, in understanding its full worth of cuhurology and folklore, in inheriting and propagating the regional culture of Yancheng.
