摘　　要：阐述了失效分析在企业发展、市场竞争和产品开发中的作用和意义;明确了失效分析的要点。指出失效分析工作的目的是提高产品质量,防患于未然。并列举了齿轮典型的失效形式、特征和失效原因,以便在加工过程中加以控制。This paper presents the function and the meaning of failure analysis to the business develoo-ment, market competition and production development. Enunciates the main-points of failure analysis and indicates that the purpose of failure analysis is to raise product quality and take precautionary measure. Typical failure modes, characteristic features and failure causes are illustrated with examples in the paper in order to control it during manufacturing procedure.
