摘　　要：大学校长具有构建办学理念的使命和义务。我国高等教育管理体制和大学校长缺乏教育家精神两种交互因素共同导致了我国大学办学理念的缺失,而"合法性"机制能对此作出较为合理的解释。大学校长构建办学理念需要积累和调动教育家精神,主要包括使命感、价值领导力、谦卑等。University presidents have the missions and obligations to construct university running philosophy., The deficiency of the running philosophy in real meaning results from Chinese higher education management ＇ k spirits.Furthermore ＂Legitimacy＇mechanism may provide a system and university presidents lac of educator＇s reasonable explanation for it.The presidents of universities need to accumulate and ignite educators＇spirit, which includes the sense of mission,the leadership in value as well as humility,etc.during constructing running philosophy.
