摘　　要：郝思嘉的本性无法容忍男人爱上别的女人;她蔑视传统敢于挑战男权统治,虽然后来在与瑞德的战争中失败了,但仍然埋下了反败为胜的伏笔。这一切与米切尔时期的女权运动有关,可以说,郝思嘉即是20世纪女权主义旗帜下的米切尔自己。Scarlet O＇Hara could not stand her beloved man loving another woman. She showed her strong con- tempt for conventions and challenged patriarchal society. Although she failed in the war with Rhett Butler, she was the real winner. Scarlet＇s story is closely related to feminism and she is, in fact, the self reflection of the author Margaret Mitchell.
