It is very common to apply fertilizer by compounding ammonium, potassium and phosphorus together in agriculture production, and plant availability, and hazard potential to water environment of soil phosphorus are related with the effects of ammonium and potassium on phosphorus release of soil.In this experiment, effects of ammonium chloride and potassium chloride on phosphorus release of paddy soil were conducted using sequential extraction, and six kinetic models were evaluated to describe the kinetics of phosphate release. The results showed that amounts, ratios and total amounts of phosphorus release were decreased with the increase of addition of ammonium chloride in soils treated by ammonium and phosphorus together, amounts, ratios and total amounts of phosphorus release were increased with the increase of addition of potassium chloride in soils treated by potassium and phosphorus together, and that of soils treated by ammonium, potassium and phosphorus were higher than that of soils treated by ammonium and phosphorus, and less than that of soils treated by potassium and phosphorus.Comparison of the coefficients of determination(R2) indicated that the fitness of ZO,TC and PD equations are better than that of FO,SO and ET equations.
