摘　　要：本文对极地航行的特殊性和挑战性做了分析,从保证极地航行安全的角度出发,阐述了IMO和IACS等国际性组织出台的一系列规则和要求,并就IMO极地规则的出台和最新进展情况进行了跟踪分析。The specific characteristics and challenging of the polar navigation were analyzed in this article. And then a series rules and requirements issued by IMO, IACS and other international organizations were elabo- rated here, to guarantee the safety of the polar navigation. Finally, the new development and progress of the IMO polar code were introduced and analyzed.
