摘　　要："旋转炮塔炮手之死"是美国诗人兰德尔·贾雷尔最著名的战争诗歌,仅仅五行诗句就生动地再现了一个炮手由生到死的全部过程。本文试图将这首描写死亡的现代战争诗歌放置在挽歌写作的语境中考察其创作内涵。根据彼得.赛克斯和杰汉·莱马扎尼有关传统挽歌和现代挽歌的诗学思想,通过此诗与雪莱的"阿多尼"、威尔弗雷德·欧文的战争挽歌以及T.S.艾略特的"东方智者朝圣之旅"的互文性分析,本文分别从意象、主题、结构等方面透视了它与传统挽歌迥异的、书写现代社会生活的"反挽歌"性质。＂The Death of the Ball Turret Gunner＂ is the most famous one of American poet Randall Jarrell＇ s war-poems, which presents vividly a gunner＇ s birth-to-death process within just five verse lines. This paper intends to investigate the connnotation of creation in this poem by putting it in the context of elegy. Based on the poetic thought by Peter Sacks and Jahan Ramazani on traditional and modem elegy, through an intertextual analysis of this poem and Shelley＇ s ＂Adonais＂, Wilfred Owen＇ s war elegies and T. S. Eliot＇ s ＂Journey of the Magi＂, this paper, from the perspectives of imagery, theme and structure, defines the poem as an＂ antielegy＂, which is difforent from traditional elegy and anwers well modern life.
