摘　　要：阐述了公共图书馆延伸服务的概念,探讨了公共图书馆基于馆藏和基于读者的延伸服务,指出现代公共图书馆要发展,其服务能力就应该延伸到广泛的服务范围中,充分体现自身在社会中的价值和作用,促进公共文化服务的不断发展。This paper expounds the concept of public library＇s extended services,probes into collection-based and reader-based extended services of public library,and points out that the service capacity of the modern public library that wats to develop should be extended into a wide range of services for fully embodying its own value and function in the society and promoting the continuos development of public cultural services.
