摘　　要：中国边防警察是我国人民警察警种之一,也是中国人民武装警察部队的一个警种。其主要职能就是保卫国家领土主权安全,维护沿边沿海地区社会治安秩序。近年来,由于我国边疆局势呈现新的态势,特别是南海的不稳定因素日趋复杂,在这样一种情形下,为了更好的维护国家主权和领土完整,建设和完善与边防相关的法律法规和加强海上执法力量的建设迫在眉睫。Chinese people＇s border police is one type of people＇s police of our country, and also one kind of Chinese people＇s armed police. One of the main functions of border police is to guard the safety of territorial sovereignty and protect the social order in border areas and coastal areas. In recent years, the new situation in border areas, especially the unstable factors in South China Sea, is becoming more and more complicated. In order to cope with this situation, it is very urgent to improve and perfect border-related laws and ~golations and strengthen the construction of maritime law enforcement forces.
