摘　　要："苦吟"是中晚唐时期之重要诗坛现象。对于唐人"苦吟",李嘉言先生认为有"生活苦"、"思想苦"、"态度苦"三个方面的含义。今本于唐代苦吟诗人诗中所论及相关材料,就此三点,寻绎"苦吟"之含义。＂KuYin＂ was an important phenomenon in the world of poetry in the mid and late Tang Dynasty. According to Li Jiayan, ＂Ku Yin＂ can be interpreted from three aspects： hard life, hard thoughts, and hard attitudes. This paper attempts to probe into the meaning of ＂Ku Yin＂ from the three aspects mentioned above based on poems written by poets of that time and other relevant materials.
