摘　　要：记述了带斑叶蜂属Emphytopsis Wei et Nie,1998特征和分类研究简史,描述了寄生山茶科天目紫茎的1新种,紫茎带斑叶蜂Emphytopsis stewartii sp.nov.,修订了带斑叶蜂属世界已知种检索表。A new species of Emphytopsis Wei et Nie from China feeding on Stewartia gemmata of Theaceae is described： Emphytopsis stewartii sp. nov. A revised key to known species of the genus is provided. Emphytopsis is the second sawfly genus feeding on plants of Theaceae. The research history and diagnosis of the genus is briefly discussed. The type specimens are kept in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Changsha, Hunan Province, China （CSCS）.
