摘　　要：清代芜湖的慈善事业发展显著,其慈善机构不仅数量可观,而且功能完备,涉及养老、育婴、救生、助丧等,具有种类多样化、运作商业化等特点,正是因为天灾频发、官民共济、经济繁荣,才使得清代芜湖善风浩荡。它维护了社会的稳定,促进了社会关系的良性发展。The philanthropic course in Wuhu saw a great development in Qing dynasty.Its organs excelled not only in number but also in functions,including old-age、infant-raising、life-saving and funeral charity and was characterized by its numerous types and commercial operation.It was the joint effect of thriving economy、frequent natural disaster,and collaboration of municipal government and local citizen that made the booming philanthropy in Wuhu at that time.The philanthropy of Wuhu maintained the social stability and promoted the sound development of social relationship.
