摘　　要：从人类认识世界和改造世界的一般规律出发,提出了地理设计是地理信息服务发展的必然方向。进而,分别阐述了地理信息服务和地理设计服务的框架体系及内在联系。最后,以城乡规划为例,研究了面向城乡规划技术体系及应用实践。本文所构建的地理设计理论框架和技术体系为地理信息产业的发展开辟了新的领域,为地理信息更加广泛和深入地服务于城乡规划奠定了方法论基础。The paper proposed that the geodesign is the inevitable trend of development of geographic information services based on the general law of human understanding the world and changing the world. Furthermore, we elaborated the framework and internal relations of geographic information services and geodesign services. Last we studied the technologies and application practices for urban and rural planning. The framework and technologies of gemlesign in this paper opened a new field for geographic information industry and laid the foundation for geographic information services in urban and rural planning.
