摘　　要：我国新形势下深入实施西部大开发,其中一个重要方面就是要更加注重生态环境保护,技术进步是应对环境问题和发展瓶颈的有力武器之一。分析了我国西部地区创业风险投资和高科技产业发展的现状及存在的问题,并从国家加大对西部地区扶持力度、增加科研经费投入、完善多层次资本市场以改善风险投资退出机制等方面提出解决思路,以壮大我国西部地区风险投资规模,促进高科技产业发展,带动我国西部地区经济腾飞,使西部地区走上可持续发展之路。One of the important aspect of China＇s further implementing the western development under the new condition is paying more emphasis on ecological and environmental protection, the technology progress is one of the powerful weapons to deal with environmental issues and development bottleneck. This paper has analyzed the present situation and existing problem of the aspect of venture capital and high tech industry development in China＇s western region, then put forward some ideas to promote better development of venture capital and high-tech industries in China＇s western regions and take the sustainable development road from the aspect of increasing the state＇s related efforts to support western region, in- creasing the research and development funding, perfecting the multi-level capital scale to promote the development of high --tech industry to take off, and to embark on the expansion of the road in the western region.
