爱德娜性觉醒的自然主义解读

摘　　要：自然主义文学运动盛行的年代正是肖班创作《觉醒》之时。自然主义的核心概念,诸如环境、本能等,与主人公爱德娜性欲觉醒等主题情景构成鲜明的对话态势。自然主义注重探究人的生理层面,这一理论内涵与《觉醒》描写女性欲望、反映女性生活等写实风格具有某种内在的对话关系。彼此丰富的对话内容也揭示了《觉醒》的自然主义内蕴。While the naturalistic movement prevailed in the late nineteenth century, Chopin was engaged in writing her masterpiece The Awakening. Consequently, there is a self - evident dialogue between the key concepts of naturalism, such as environment and instinct, and the thematic scenes in the novel including the heroine＇ s sexual awakening. Naturalistic research into physiological being constructs an intrinsic relationship with the novel＇ s realistic style which is shown in the depiction of women＇ s life involving sexual desire. The re- ciprocal connotation of dialogue serves as a revelation of the naturalistic significance of The Awakening.
