摘　　要：Fauconnier和Turner提出的概念合成理论是意义构建的普遍认知模式,对自然言语具有强大的阐释力。研究以概念合成理论为背景,依据概念整合网络的四个子网络,从四个方面对幽默言语的运行机制进行认知解读。研究结果一方面验证了概念合成理论对幽默言语在线的、动态的解读能力,另一方面也为幽默言语的解读提供了新的认知视角。Conceptual Blending Theory put forward by Fauconnier ＆ Turner is a ubiquitous cognitive model for meaning construction with its powerful explanation for natural languages. Based on the background of Conceptual Blending Theory, the present paper intends to cognitively analyze the working mechanism of verbal humour guided by the four sub - Networks of Con- ceptual Blending Network. Findings of the study prove Conceptual Blending Theory＇ s on - line and dynamic explanatory power to verbal humour on the one hand, and provide a new cognitive perspective on verbal humour explanation on the other hand.
