略论宋代皇城司秘密警察

摘　　要：宋代皇城司名义上是皇帝的近卫组织,实际上却是中央秘密警察机构,是皇帝直接掌握的一支特殊侦缉队伍。皇城司的特务活动主要有秘密政治侦察、反间谍和其他情报治安行动。皇城司秘密警察是宋代封建专制主义空前发展的产物,是宋代最高统治者镇压反抗、排斥异己的工具。在中国古代秘密警察发展史上,宋代皇城司起着承上启下的作用。The capital judicial department in the Song dynasty was the guarding organization of the emperor by name, but actually it was the central secret police organization, directly led by the emperor. The major activities of the department included secret political sp- ying, anti - spying and other information security action. The secret police of the capital judicial department was the product of the un- precedented development of the feudal despotism in the Song dynasty as well as the tool by which the supreme rulers suppressed revoh and expelled other people who had different views. In the history of ancient secret police development the capital judicial department in the Song dynasty played a linking role.
