摘　　要：明清小说插图是我国文学和文化领域中一种独特的现象,这些插图不仅是对书籍的装饰,而且承担起一定的叙事作用,具有叙事性。但这种图像叙事并不是简单地对文字的模仿,而是抓住最富有孕育性的那一顷刻进行表现。在叙事形态上,明清小说插图的叙述与文字叙述相结合,以文解图。Illustration in Ming and Qing novels is a special cultural and literary phenomenon. It is more than a decoration for the novels ; it undertakes the function of narrative. This picture narrative is not simply the imitation of words ; it catches those preg- nant moments. As to the pattern of narrative, illustration narrative is combined with word narrative, using words to explain the picture.
