摘 要:提喻具有独立的辞格地位和鲜明的认知理据。和转喻、隐喻一样,提喻也是一种认知模式,三者体现的都是两个不同概念之间的互动。从认知的视角看,提喻、转喻和隐喻基于概念与概念之间不同的心理可及程度而形成连续体关系;进一步分析,提喻是一种更为根本的思维模式,转喻和隐喻都是建立在提喻的基础之上,因而三者能形成有效互动。Synecdoche has its own characters as a figure of speech and cognitive motivation. It should be distinguished from metony- my and rnetaphpr though all of them are claimed to be some cognitive pattern. They reflect certain interaction between two different concepts which, however, bear different mental accessibility. And based on the different mental accessibility, synecdoche, metonymy and metaphor form a continuum. Further analysis reveals that synecdoche is a more basic thinking model and that synecdoche, me- tonymy and metaphor may interact effectively because metonymy and metaphor are synecdochically constructed.
