摘　　要：1 750kV官厅-兰州东输变电示范工程-（中国电力工程顾问集团西北电力设计院申报）。 2 1000kV晋东南-南阳-荆门特高压交流试验示范工程-（中国电力工程集团公司申报）。The Great Hall of the People Project is large and complicated, and the duration from design to construction is short： it only lasted for over 10 months from collection of building plans in September 1958. The construction was started on October 28 of the same year and completed In August 1959, There are over 100 halls and meeting rooms in the whole butlding with centra heating and air conditioning, such heat sources as high-pressure hot water, high-pressure steam, coat gas and refrigeration plants as well as such telecommunication and building services as lighting, broadcasting, television facsimile, electroacoustlcs and simultaneous interpretation installations. The Great Hall of the People was so large but constructed only in over 10 months, and its delicacy not only surpassed the levels of similar buildings in China, but ranked first in the world.
