摘　　要：自由主义思想是西方政治思潮中的主要思想之一,从其产生至今,已经历了数个阶段的发展,形成了一套完整的理论。密尔的自由主义政治思想在自由主义思想史上有着重要的影响,其一经产生,便引起极大热议,成为中外学者争相研究的对象。在对国内外研究现状进行分析的基础上,对密尔的自由主义政治思想重新进行解读,力求获得一个更加深入的了解。Liberalism,an important school of Western political thoughts,has formed its own complete theory after different stages of development since its birth.Exerting great influence in the history of liberalism,John S.Mill＇s liberalist politics,though controversial,has become an issue of hot investigation both at home and abroad since it came into being.On the basis of an analysis to the status quo of researches on Mill＇s liberalist politics,this paper provides a new reading to his ideas so that we can have a deeper understanding to him.
