摘　　要：本文概述了锹甲分类的研究历史,包括了1735年至今的世界及中国锹甲分类研究的历史回顾和研究进展,并提出了锹甲各级分类单元的分类地位存在质疑或不统一、文献缺乏、模式标本特殊的问题并展望。This paper dealt with the brief review of the history of taxonomic work on Lucanidae（Coleoptera： Scarabaeoidea）,which included the progress worldwide and in China since 1735.Several useful notes were added such as the queries in taxonomic category,insufficiency in literature and peculiar type specimens.
