探析大学校标设计与民族汉字的有机结合

摘　　要：大学校标作为高校视觉识别系统(Visual Identity,简称VI)的重要元素,是一种独具匠心的艺术创作,这种创作可以承载大学的文化精神并透射大学的文化内涵。我国五千年的传统汉字文化对高等教育领域产生了深远的影响并渗透在大学校标文化中,这种渗透在我国现当代的大学校标与民族汉字的有机结合中仍旧以具有时代性的姿态着。以汉字为母体,结合装饰字、书法字和变形艺术字的表现形式可以设计出富有特色的大学校标,能够使大学校标具有强烈的民族特色和时代特征。A college sign, as an important part of College Visual Identity（VI}, is a kind of unique artistic creation. And this kind of creation can bear the cultural spirit of a college and reflect its cultural implications. Our 5000 - year traditional Chinese characters have a profound influence on our country＇s higher education and they have peneurated the culture of college signs. This penetration remains with its contemporary characteristics in the integration of our country＇ s modem college signs and Chinese characters. To design a characteristic college sign, the designer can base the designation on Chinese Characters, and then integrate the different forms, such as characters used for omanlemation, ealligraphieal c｜rameters and characters in a deformed fancy style. Designation of such can endow college signs with strong national characteristics and characteristics of the fines.
