摘　　要：随着信息网络技术的高速发展,图书馆迎来数字化时代,虚拟参考服务是数字化图书馆服务的重要内容;做好虚拟参考服务,为用户提供更及时、更便捷、更高质量的服务以最大限度地满足其需求,是目前图书馆数字化研究方面具有挑战性的新命题。海南省适逢建国际旅游岛的大好契机,在提升海岛建设、城市文明、文化科技强省的大环境下,图书馆应充分挖掘虚拟参考服务的内核,使其发挥最大化效用,更好地为科学、文化、教育及产业发展服务。With the rapid development of information and network technology,libraries have stepped into a digital era.Virtual reference service is the important content of the digital library service.How to do a good job in providing virtual reference service and how to provide users with more timely,more convenient and higher quality service so as to meet their demand to the greatest extent are the new challenging topics in the current research on library digitalization.Hainan province happens to have a good opportunity of constructing the international tourism island.In the big environment of upgrading the island construction and urban civilization,and building a province with advanced culture,science and technology,it＇s necessary for libraries to fully excavate the core content of virtual reference service,bring it to greatest play,and provide better serve for the development of science,culture,education and industry in Hainan province.
