摘  要:新文学之初,胡怀琛被新文学作家视为"旧派文人",然其在传统"辨体"思维影响下提出的"新派诗"观点,对于新诗理论建设颇有借鉴意义。在诗歌本质方面,他坚持"情感"和"音节"的密不可分;在诗歌文体方面,他强调诗文之别和诗歌之别;关于中外诗歌文体,他指出二者不仅情感内容有别,形式也各有"民族本性"的不同;而对于诗歌文体的新旧,他坚持情感没有新旧,"体裁没有新旧",据此他提出了一套系统的新诗体"建设的根本计划"。Hu Huai-chen was regarded as an "old school scholar" by the new literature writers At the beginning of the new literary movement. However, his points of view on the so-called "new poetry under the influence of the traditional differentiation and analysis of poetry have a great significance for the formation of modern poetic theory. As far as the essence of poetry is concerned, he insisted on that emotion and syllables are inseparable; as far as the poetic style is concerned, he stressed the distinction between poetry and prose; as far as the poetic style of poems and songs at home and abroad is concerned, he pointed out that there exist differences not only in emotional contents but also in forms; and as far as the classicism and modernism of poetic style, he insisted on that there are no such things of classicism and modernism in emotions and styles. Accordingly, he proposed a set of "fundamental construction plans" for modern poetry.
