摘　　要：对视频进行MPEG-4编码过程中,运动估计和离散余弦变换DCT两部分运行量最大,块匹配法是运动估计常用的方法,该方法是在确定两个子块匹配法则的基础上,寻找搜索方法,要求该搜索方法的计算量最小,重复点计算是传统菱形搜索算法存在的主要问题,本文对菱形搜索算法进行了改进,改进后的菱形搜索算法可以在相同步骤下使搜索点数减少近50%,使算法运算量的运算量大大减少。Video for MPEG-4 during coding, motion estimation and discrete cosine transform DCT two section runs the largest block matching motion estimation, is a commonly used method, the method is identified in the two sub block matching algorithm based on search method, search, the search method for the calculation of the minimum amount, repeat point calculation of the traditional diamond search algorithm is the main problems, the diamond search algorithm, the improved diamond search algorithm can be in the same step to search a reduction of nearly 50%, the algorithm greatly reduces the computation.
