秦岭北坡发现珍稀蝶种

摘　　要：朴喙蝶 (Libythea celtis chinensis Fruhstorfer)是喙蝶科 (Libytheidae)惟一常见种 ,属珍稀蝴蝶 .它主要分布在热带、亚热带地区 (东洋界 ) .在东洋界与古北界交汇处的秦岭北坡亦有分布 ,但数量很少 ,不易采集到标本 .确定秦岭北坡有朴喙蝶分布 ,对研究动物地理区系有一定学术价值 .《国家重点保护动物名录》中受到保护的蝴蝶只有 5种 (一级保护蝴蝶 1种 ,二级保护为 4种 ) .朴喙蝶应列为《名录》Libythea celtis Chinensis Fruhstorfer is an only common species in existent, so it is rare. This butterfly lives in the torrid and subtropical zone. Within DongYangJie and GuBeiJie on north hillside of Qinling Mountain exists the species of this kind by very limited quantity. This discovery contributes greatly to academic study of insect geographical distribution. There are five protected species enlisted in National Protection List of Rare Animal(1 kind for 1st class species and 4 kinds for 2nd class species). We suggest this newly discovered species be approved of 2nd class protection.
