摘　　要：综述了2011年国际重载协会理事会和专家技术会议的情况,介绍了参观加拿大太平洋铁路公司编组场、网络管理中心和集装箱联运站的情况,简述了加拿大、澳大利亚、南非、俄罗斯等国铁路重载运输最新进展,并提出了我国发展重载运输的建议。The 2011 Technical Seminar of Experts and Meeting of Council of the International Heavy Haul Association are surveyed. The visits to the Marshalling Yard, Network Administration Center and Container Intermodal Transport Station of Canadian Pacific Railroad are introduced. The latest developments in railway heavy haul transport in Canada, Australia, South Africa and Russia, etc. are briefly described. And sugges- tions on development of heavy haul transport in our country are given.
