摘　　要：世界遗产是全人类共同的财富。城市的发展建设往往对该地遗产保护构成威胁。1998年,颐和园作为文化遗产被联合国教科文组织世界遗产委员会列入《世界遗产名录》。以颐和园为例,将颐和园与国内外皇家园林进行对比,总结其显著价值。在对颐和园遗产地多次实地考察的基础上,指出该遗产地现面临着自然威胁、管理体制、旅游压力、商业严重,城市发展等一系列问题,并从遗产资源综合管理的角度提出相关建议,以促进颐和园遗产地的可持续发展。World heritage is the common wealth of mankind. The development and construction of the city often make a threat to the heritage protection. The summer palace was included as a cultural heritage on the World Heritage List by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in 1998. Taking the Summer Palace for example, this paper compares the site with royal gardens at home and abroad to sum up it’s outstanding value. The authors, carry out several investigations to the site, point out the problems, such as natural threat, management system, tourism pressure, commercial problems, urban development, etc. Based on heritage recourses integrated management, the paper presents relevant suggestions in order to promote the sustainable development of the Summer Palace.
