摘　　要：侨民是一个国家拓展海外利益的重要资源和力量,强有力的侨民保护是既关系到国家形象更是国家主权意识和国家能力的重要体现。本文在分析侨民保护的法理基础及客观需要的基础上提出作者的见解,并明确保护侨民权益与人身安全,是国家权利更是国家固有的责任与义务。Immigrants are prominent sources and power for a country to develop its oversea benefits.A strong and powerful protection on immigrants relates to the country's image as well as important embodiment of a country's sovereignty awareness and state power.This paper analyzes the jurisprudent basis for protecting immigrants and its objective need with the writer's insight.It points out that protecting immigrant's interest,right and life safety is the country's right as well as its connatural obligation and duty.
