摘　　要：XML是可扩展的标识语言,是它使得SGML在万维网上的语言形式得以应用自如,同时是用来描述其他语言结构的主要方法,因此它被称之为智能数据库。通过对XML技术展开了各层次的阐述,就其在有线电视网络企业BOSS系统结构及XML技术在生产、运营、应用中的各个方面分析,提出了合理的应用策略。As a chief method to describe the architecture of other languages,the extensible markup language（XML） makes the standard generalized markup language（SGML） applied on the world wide webs with ease,thus being called the intelligent database.This paper analyzes the production,operation,and application of the XML in the business and operation support system（BOSS） architecture of the CATV network corporations,and then gives some rational strategies.
