摘　　要：在《伊丽莎白.科斯特洛:八堂课》中,库切探讨了人文学科、基督教救世主义和希腊主义在创造后殖民沟通路径上的意义与局限。库切认为,这三种范式都受到人类中心主义、理性中心主义和西方中心主义的束缚,无法有效承担起建构后殖民沟通路径的任务。小说中,库切提出了"身体之性"和"文艺之美"两种沟通模式,然而这两种沟通模式同样存在一定的局限性。J. M. Coetzee probes into the significance and limitations of the humanities, the Christian redemption and Hellenism as the way of the post - colonial communication in his Elizabeth Costello ： Eight Lessons. Coetzee believes that these three paradigms are controlled by human- centrism, rational- centrism and western- centrism so that they cant establish the channels of post- colonial communication. In this novel Coetzee has proposed the ＂sex of body＂ and ＂aesthetics of art＂ as the communication channels. However, these two communication modes also contain their own limitations.
