摘　　要：新疆生产建设兵团是实行党政军企合一的特殊组织,承担着屯垦戍边的特殊使命,其人口分布本身就具有战略意义。在新的历史时期,分析探讨兵团人口分布现状与问题,并提出相应的优化对策建议,对于更好地发挥兵团"三大作用",进而促进新疆地区跨越式发展和长治久安具有重要的理论和现实意义。The Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is a special social organization integrating party, government, army with enterise, shoulders special historical responsibility of settling and defending edge. In the new period, giving an analysis of the conditions and the problems, further, making some suggestions to optimalize the population distribution has important theo- retical and practical significance to play Three Significant Roles better and advance great-leap-forward development and long-period social stability in Xinjiang.
