摘　　要：《天津市市立通俗图书馆月刊》是天津公共图书馆历史上编辑出版发行的最早刊物,本文从创刊情况、内容特点等方面,阐释了该刊对三十年代天津图书馆学术研究、业务水平,以及天津公共图书馆各项事业的发展所做出的成绩。＂Tianjin Municipal Popular Library Monthly ＂ is the earliest publication in the history of public library in Tianjin. From the situation of o- pening issue and content characteristics etc, this article explains the achievements of this publication to the scholarly research of 1930s and the vocational level, as well as the developments of each business of the public library in Tianjin.
