摘　　要：历史古城是祖先赐予我们的宝贵遗产,是华夏文明的生动见证。由于各种原因,一些历史古城处在消亡状态,如何在现代化过程中正确处理保护与发展的关系,实现保护和复兴,是一个十分紧迫而现实的问题。以遵化古城为例,通过阐述历史古城保护与城市建设和发展的矛盾关系,探讨遵化古城的保护思路、途径与方法。The historical old city is the ancestor grants our precious inheritance, is the China civilization vivid testimony.As a result of each kind of reason, some historical old city occupies the withering away condition, how correct processing protects the relations in the modernized process which and develops, the realization protects and revives, is one extremely urgent and the realistic problem.Take the Tsunhwa old city as the example, through the elaboration history old city protection and the urban construction and the development contradictory relations, discusses the Tsunhwa old city the protection mentality, the way and the method.
