摘　　要：作为"美国精神"的实用主义,是美国政府制定各项对外政策的哲学指导思想。从对经济全球化的积极倡导和全面参与,到美国经济刺激计划中的"购买美国货"条款,都是实用主义哲学思想指导下美国的行动选择。实用主义的效用原则和政策行为的相对主义深刻影响着美国的对外经济政策取向。As a spirit of America, pragmatism is an important philosophical thought guiding its foreign policy making. Pragma- tism finds its expressions in the active initiation and full participatign of the economic globalization, and the establishment of the rules ＂Purchasing American Goods＂ in the U.S. in terms of economic stimulation. Utility principle of pragmatism and the rela- tivism of policies exert profound impact on American foreign economic policies.
