摘　　要：文章从城市保护角度对城市品质提升进行思考,首先简要回溯城市保护思想观念的发展过程,而后探讨城市保护对提升空间景观品质、优化人文环境、贡献于城市整体可持续发展的意义。在此基础上,阐述城市保护的深刻涵义以及如何理解城市保护与城市品质提升二者之间的紧密联系。The article makes study of urban quality promotion from the perspective of urban conservation. Firstly, it reviews the development of urban conservation ideas briefly, and then discusses the contribution of urban conservation to improve landscape quality and humanistic environment and to the sustainable development. On the basis, it expounds the profound connotation of urban conservation, and how to understand the relationship of urban conservation and quality promotion.
